    3. I am a vain and violent woman. I strike my boyfriend when he declares his love for the girl. 

    4. I am a caring and traditional lady. I give concern towards Anna in finding a suitor for her. Besides, I strongly believe that a woman should not be ambitious in her life.

  1. Plot is the literary element that describes how fictional stories are arranged chronologically. 
  2. The components of plot are:
    • Exposition 
    • Rising Action
    • Climax 
    • Falling Action 
    • Resolution
  3. Exposition refers to the part of the short story in which you are introduced to the characters and setting of the story.
  4. Rising Action will be focusing on the events occurred toward the conflict or problem in the story.
  5. Climax is the turning point in a short story where the focus moves from the problem happened towards the solution.
  6. Falling action will be focusing on the events involved in solving the identified problem.
  7. Lastly, resolution refers to the stage of conclusion in the short story where the problem is solved or vice versa. It also creates an open-ended or close-ended resolution.
  8. In short:
    • Exposition: Opening of a story / background 
    • Rising Action: Events are focused around the conflict 
    • Climax: Here’s a solution to my problem!! 
    • Falling Action: Carrying out the solution
    • Resolution: All DONE!!
